“ Let me start by saying I've been a regular customer at Windy City Hot Dogs for about 15 years. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The food, especially the fries, are cooked to order and always hot the way food should be served. Too many fast food businesses do not get that right but Windy City does! If I could offer recommendations, His Ultimate Chicken sandwich is delicious and I also love their Chili Cheese dogs. If you are in the area of midway airport and hungry, this is the place! ”

“ I started working in the area about a month ago and this is my first trip here. As usual, I phone my order in. They said, "...ready in 7-10 minutes. And it was. I'm less than 10 minutes away, but since I work west of the tracks, it's a gamble that has to pay off. I think it did. I ordered the breaded steak sandwich w/sweet peppers. $7, not bad! It comes on a 6" roll w marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Back in the day, we used to travel to Bridgeport to hit Ricobene's or better yet, La Milanese on May; when we had huge appetites for those gigantic mud flaps! Not any more. The 6" is sufficient for me. The only thing I would change with the order, is less mozz. The cheese makes it a little too salty for my taste. For others it probably won't matter. Give it a try. Good bang for the buck! I'm giving it 3 stars for the food and 1 more star for the prices. I'll be back to try the beef next. ”

I told them I'll be back in April. but I didn't leave the lot. after 2 bites ordered another polish sausage. I couldn't live here... I'll get fatter. fries were fresh and plentiful. dang...where is the bed? I shouldn't have gone back for that 2nd polish because it brought a friend, dr. pepper. Pepsi wanted to come, but not enough extra flair (cherry flavor). visited 10/2/2023.... can't wait to get back to Chi-town ”
